About noob.tools
noob.tools is a free toolbox of 69 utilities for network engineers, sysadmins, and developers — DNS lookups, SSL/TLS inspection, subnet math, encoding/decoding, DevOps config validation, and more, organized into 13 categories so you can find what you need without digging through a wall of tools.
Why it exists
Most of these tasks — decoding a JWT, matching a certificate to its key, calculating a subnet, generating a self-signed cert — used to mean either installing a CLI tool or trusting a random web page with sensitive input. noob.tools tries to do better: wherever a task can run entirely client-side (certificate generation, key matching, JWT decoding, hashing, header analysis), it does — nothing is uploaded to a server. Tools that fundamentally require a server (DNS resolution, WHOIS, port scanning, live SSL scans) are clearly the exception, not the rule.
